Before I load up with more images from Whistler and Vancouver I wanted to share my October Oregon photos. Its been a wet one

Back in Oregon

Biking around NYC visiting my sis before I move 3,000 miles away.

Massapequa Park Long Island Visiting Grandma. 95 years old and still spunky.

Weekend trips to the coast.  Here at a brewery in Cape Kiwanda.

Prince Edward Island Canada.  Posted up in Dalvay By The Sea all week.  Very isolated.  Beach runs, bike rides and kayaking kept me sane.

Camping at Crater Lake.  The clear night allowed for a beautiful view of the Milky Way.  Next morning was snow.  The shroud stayed over the lake all day.  Lucky to snag this view in the very early morning.

Its a long run around the Rim. Up at 8,000 ft elevation.  33ish miles around via the road. Trail Running around Crater Lake.  Snow wind and ice made for brutal conditions.  But also allowed me to enjoy my favorite place with almost no other people around.

October 1st and first snow of Autumn.

After my long crazy days of adventure nothing hits the spot like a campfire.

Luckily I had winter tire chains. Put them to use in Oregon and Idaho! First time.

Once I made my way through the tricky and treacherous snowy roads of Oregon, Idaho, and Utah I was in the dry climate of the Grand Canyon!

It wasn't exactly dry out here either. The snow storms hit every portion of my journey.

Before I visited the Grand Canyon, I stayed at Zion National Park. This is the view from an evening hike.

Hiking up to the well known Angels Landing. The trail to the top was just snow and ice. I had zero traction. I basically pulled myself up to the top with the chain rope you see in this photo. Great risk = Great Reward. The view from the top was incredible.

Another view from the top in Zion National Park.  Utah provides amazing landscapes.  Zion is on the top of my list to travel back to. 

Temperatures were in the teens at night. I was stoked to get this fire started quickly to stay warm while I was camping in Watchman campground at Zion.

The west coast did not want me to leave. The weather threw everything it had at me during my drive across country.  Snow, Ice, Slush, Wind, and Thick Fog. And the psycho truck drivers didn't make it any easier.

After a long haul through Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Virginia I am back on the East Coast.  I have one last week of freedom before I start back working again. Baltimore, Maryland will be my new home.
