Wake Up Wake Up Wake Up

This week has been crazy busy. Mainly becuase of the training hours. Its already Thursday and I've put in over 12 hours since Monday. I haven't got home until after 8 so far this week. I've been so tired every night I've been in bed by 9, BTW I get up at 6. For the first time this summer the temperatures have dropped into the mid 70s. It's COLD. Just being used to training in the 80s and 90s for so long it's wierd being in cooler temps now. I've definately been able to push myself harder and longer, so that's good. Temps are supposed to go back up again. Aight enough with the weather report. Friday will be a 2 hour semi hard bike ride and a 1 hour hard swim. Saturday will be my 20 mile run (7 weeks until Marine Corps Marathon) and Sunday will be a 90-100 mile bike (1 week until Patriots Tri). I'm going to try to bring along my camera to get some shots of my cycling route. If I recover enough from either/both I'll swim or depending on the waves this weekend SURF! Monday will be a nice recovery day from both work and training. Props to you, Labor Day.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of the family this weekend as they are visiting Va Beach again. Last weekend was spent hanging out at the beach with my Mom and Sis. Happy Times. We've had some good surf here the last few weekends, that always makes my life super hectic trying to get all the training in and work while trying to get the surfing in. But its worth it for sure.
Also this weekend is the super popular Virginia Beach Rock & Roll Half Marathon. Not a race I want to partake in, WAY too crowded, like over 20,000 people I think. I would like to race to see where my 13.1 mile time is at, but now is not the time. Good Luck to all who are running it. Remember KEEP VIRGINIA BEACH CLEAN while you are here!
Here are some recent pics (still trying to get up more pics from the beach).

Took these at First
Landing State Park, yup those are purple mushrooms.

Fresh Organic Salad for din and Alaskin Salmon, Organic Quinoa, and Veggies for lunch.

My mom and sister and Kula dog on a hike. Me and Colin at the beach.
