Racing News:
USA Triathlon -Duathlon Long Course National Championships is on April 28th. I raced this last year in Maryland, but dropped out due to injury. Guess where it is taking place in 2013.. Enumclaw, Washington (just west of Seattle). I have a buddy racing it from UO, I am really considering racing too. Though I am in no shape to win, I can easily qualify for World Championships which is located in Switzerland this year. The next two weeks of training will determine whether or not I race. It'll be hard passing up on racing DU Nationals. I also have Wildflower a week after on May 5th.
Also, cycling form has returned to me quite quickly, thankfully. It took a couple days, but swim endurance has also returned to me somewhat quickly too, swim speed... that's another issue. Since starting back, I swim 5 days a week. Running speed and endurance are probably my biggest problems right now due to the weight gain... but I am improving each day and that's all I can ask for.
